Attorney Clyde M. Taylor Jr. founded this firm in 1983. He is a criminal defense lawyer who has tried more than 200 felony cases, including death penalty cases. He has argued cases before federal appellate courts in the 1 st, 4 th, 5 th, 7 th and 11 th Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Taylor is approved by the state to handle death penalty trials and death row inmate appeals.
Clyde M. Taylor Jr. is joined in the practice by his son, Clyde M. Taylor III, who focuses on criminal appeals, estate planning and personal injury claims. The younger Mr. Taylor was an assistant public defender in Volusia County for two and a half years before joining a general practice law firm in St. Augustine.
